Supporting St George’s

The Josephite ethos of the school supports a strong sense of family, where all students are valued and encouraged to fulfil their potential in an atmosphere of mutual respect and compassion.

This atmosphere aims to reach out to all families, Old Georgians, the local community and the wider world. St George’s is proud to have a reputation for being a friendly school where all are individually known and valued equally, whatever their strengths and weaknesses. Great care is taken by the teaching staff to ensure that all students develop into confident and compassionate individuals, which will prepare them to play a responsible role in the shaping of society. It is our wish that during their time at St George’s, our pupils and students will grow up within a community where Christian beliefs and principles are a guide for all that we do. This is evident in the liturgical life of our School and in the many ways we have of reaching out beyond our community.

Your Support

Through the generosity of our Georgian community we provide long term, sustainable support by raising funds for new building projects such as the Activity Centre, life-changing bursaries and other educational projects via our GROW fundraising programme.

By donating to the St George’s GROW fundraising programme, you will have a direct impact on the lives of students at St George’s now and for future generations.

Inspiring all in our Josephite, Georgian family to be the very best version of themselves.

Our GROW vision outlines three branches to support:

Bursaries

With your support we can offer financial assistance to families through a St George’s Bursary. By supporting bursaries you will be helping to ensure the talent and diversity of students we can offer places to regardless of their financial circumstances. You will be helping to transform a young life.

Capital Projects

Your donation will help fund the educational environment at St George’s; providing new buildings for learning or the modernisation of existing facilities at the College or Junior School and the grounds we all enjoy.

Unrestricted Donations

By supporting ‘where there is greatest need’, you will be helping to provide funding for future projects that cannot be funded through operating budgets but have been identified as enriching our curriculum to further enhance the educational and spiritual experience of our students.
