By supporting Education Environments you are helping us to continue to improve our campuses. Enabling us to offer students the teaching and sports facilities they need for a fully-rounded, quintessentially Georgian education. These facilities help us to attract, retain and develop exceptional staff who in turn give our students the very best education that they deserve.
The Activity Centre, opened in September 2019, forms part of our 20 year plans for our Schools, followed on from the successful completion of The Ark at the Junior School in 2015. We are determined to offer the very best facilities to current and future Georgians – giving them unparalleled opportunities to learn, play, socialise and thrive.
The Master Plan, a 20 year plan, is our vision for St George’s Weybridge at both the Junior School and the College campus. We are determined to offer the very best facilities to current and future Georgians. This will enable us to give them unparalleled opportunities to learn, play, socialise and thrive.
‘The Activity Centre’ St George’s College, Weybridge opened in autumn 2019. It was built to mark the achievement of the Schools 150th anniversary. This ambitious building was designed to provide several flexible and varied environments to cater for many different types of activity now and in the future. It is a precious space for the whole School to gather which we previously could not do. This new facility will inspire our students to excel throughout their school life and beyond.
‘The Ark’ at St George’s Junior School, Weybridge opened in autumn 2015. It was built specifically for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. The Ark offers new, modern classrooms and resource areas, a dedicated IT suite, a new assembly room, new outdoor learning areas along with many other features.
