The Old Georgians’ Association aims to bring all former students from St George’s Weybridge together. Whether it be through playing or supporting all the sporting activities on offer.
The annual fee for Old Georgians’ Association membership is £10 a year (usually included within each clubs fee), and each club has allocated time on various College pitches as well as access to the Old Georgians’ Clubhouse, located on the College campus.
.
The OGA Committee is made up of alumni volunteers who oversee the management and finances of the OGA including the Clubhouse. Members of the committee represent the OG sports clubs as well as the Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, the Development Office and the Josephites.
The Clubhouse is home to the Old Georgians’ Association sports clubs and is available to hire to members of the Georgian Family – subject to availability. Members of the Old Georgians’ Association receive preferential hire rates.
The aim of the Old Georgians’ Cricket Club is to provide keen, enjoyable and positive cricket against our friendly rivals on the most attractive St George’s cricket square on which we are privileged to be allowed to play our matches. All Old Georgian cricketers are most welcome to play and are encouraged to apply for the matches which offer good play and companionship. Visitors are always welcome at the games.
Re-established in 2011 to provide opportunities to play rugby after leaving St George’s College, Weybridge. The club’s 1st XV currently competes in Surrey 3 and the home ground is the College’s 1st team pitch and they also use the St George’s College grounds for training.
The OGHC are very proud of the success achieved throughout the Club’s history. The Club aspires to build on this successful hockey tradition, and to continue producing top class players. The club uses the College’s two all-weather floodlit hockey pitches. As of 2017, the College has been named as a performance centre for England Hockey.
